The Eaglebrook School, in partnership with Força! Soccer Tours, completed their Mar 2008 tour that brought the boys varsity soccer team to Valencia and Madrid, Spain. The Eaglebrook School is a boarding and day school for boys grades 6-9. |

Valencia The Eaglebrook group began their tour with 4 days in Valencia. They enjoyed training in the sunshine on several high quality pitches, including one session run by a pro training at the professional training complex of La Liga powerhouse club Valencia CF (photo right). The teams played 2 competitive friendly matches against local teams in Valencia. The matches were challenging but just the experience the team coaches were looking for to broaden the players knowledge. The Eaglebrook group also attended the professional match of Levante-Zaragoza, visited the Mestalla Stadium, the home of Valencia CF, for a behind the scenes tour. |

The group rounded out their Valencia experience with a hop-on hop-off guided bus tour of the major city attractions, including the old city center, and the architectural wonder that is the City of Arts & Sciences. The group also visited the beach for lunch, a dip in the Mediterranean, and some sand soccer. Madrid The final 3 days took the group to Madrid. The group stayed in the heart of the old city center, within walking distance of many of the important cultural and historical sites, such as the Royal Palace (photo left), and the Plaza Mayor. The Eaglebrook team continued the soccer experience in Madrid with a tour of the famous Santiago Bernabéu, the home of Real Madrid, a training session with trainers from Atlético Madrid at the Spanish Federation training center, and a final hard-fought friendly match. |
