• US and Canadian citizens will not require any inoculations traveling to Europe.
• If you have any pre-existing medical conditions are cause for concern you should always check with your doctor before you travel.

• Routine care, such as taping, icing, dressing blisters, etc., is typically handled by the player, family, or coach themselves. 
• Some teams may wish to bring a Athletic Trainer or Physician along on the trip to address any routine issues that arise.

• Emergency medical situations are handled just as in the US, with "911" calls, or by turning to on-site medical/emergency staff, such as typically found at tournaments.

• Although medical personnel in countries with socialized healthcare may offer some level of free medical assistance, the potential for costly medical treatment in a foreign country exists.
• All tour participants (players, coaches, parents, administrators, etc.) are required to have medical insurance.  Please check with your healthcare provider to understand the scope of coverage of your plan at the destination.
• Medical insurance designed for foreign travel is available via travel insurance providers such as Travel Insured International.

• The most commonly purchased form of travel insurance is Post-Departure Insurance.  This cover things like lost luggage,
• Pre-Departure Insurance, or Trip Protection Insurance, is also available to provide a way to recover non-refundable payments in the event that a traveler is unable to participate.
• Before purchasing any form or medical/travel insurance, be sure to fully understand the list of coverages, and the claim submission process.
• Optional Travel Insurance is available to Força!
