The Miramar training center is set in the mountain valley over-

looking the Atlantic ocean in the Vila of Povoação on the island of

São Miguel in the Azores, Portugal.  São Miguel is the largest and

most developed of the nine islands that make up the Azorean

archipelago.  Miramar is ideal for amateur teams looking to train

and play competitive matches while having a cultural experience

in a captivating environment.  Povoação is just 60 km from the

international airport in Ponta Delgada.  A professional match with

CD Santa Clara, the top team in the Azores, can be attended in the

capital city of Ponta Delgada, as well.

Accommodations:

 

Miramar offers hotel accommodations set between two beaches and

situated in front of the newly-constructed harbor. The hotel offers 34

double rooms and 2 suites, all with total or partial ocean views, television,

direct-dial telephone, internet connection, air-conditioning, and balcony. 

Meals can be taken on-site and/or in a variety of local restaurants.  Team

supporters can be accommodated on-site or at other local options.
