Location:
The official training center of the Sporting Clube de
Portugal is located at Alcochete, a township outside
of Lisbon on the South side of the Rio Tejo, just 30
minutes drive from Lisbon international airport
across the new Vasco da Gama bridge. The center
serves the training and coaching needs of Sporting’s A Team,
B team and all developmental levels starting at 13 years of
age. The academy hosted Portugal’s national team in prepar-
ation for and during Euro 2004. All of this activity makes the
academy a great place to watch professional training sessions
during your stay. SuperLiga matches and stadium tours can
be attended at a number of stadiums in and around Lisbon.

Accommodations:
The Sporting training center has 91 fully equipped rooms, most are
double rooms with a balcony. private bathroom, television, safe box,
air-conditioning and refrigerator. There are also two dining areas,
one of which is self-service, and comfortable living rooms, tastefully
decorated and equipped with facilities for indoor games. The hotel
facilities include a kitchen and clothes store. Meals can be taken
on-site and/or in a variety of local restaurants. Team supporters
can be accommodated at any of a variety of off-site options nearby.
